Faith Without Works is Dead

                                  FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD

Many Christians believe that all they need to do in order to be saved in the kingdom of Heaven for eternity is to believe, or have faith, in Jesus their Saviour. Entering into the Celestial kingdoms of Heaven permanently is not that easy. In the general epistle of James he lets his brethren know that; Faith, if it hath not works, is dead. (Bible, James 2:17) Jesus also points out that not all those who believe in Him, or even those who have done many wonderful works in His Name, will be worthy to attain Eternal Life in the kingdom of Heaven: 13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, [or re-embodiment] and many there be which go in thereat:  14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto [Eternal] life, and few there be that find it… 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Bible, Matthew 7:13-14, 21-23) Jesus also points out that only; he that endureth to the end shall be saved. (Matthew 10:22)
