Old Occult Methods

At the beginning of this New Dispensation the Mighty Ascended Master Victory, Who gained His Ascension hundreds of thousands of centuries ago, issued the Mighty Fiat for the world dismissing forever the old occult methods for the earth. The Ascended Master Saint Germain asks: Did you ever see anyone go forth in the understanding of Metaphysical Law who won any permanent success? The reason for it is this, they have no foundation, they have no anchorage, which is the Mighty I AM Presence! Otherwise it is a fluctuating foundation which knows no landing spot. (The Voice of the I AM 1942 December p26) In the Religion Eckankar members go through a series of Initiations which relate to the Higher and lower Planes. Thus one slowly, over many years, works their way up through the Initiations. These involve receiving a Mantra on the inner, or the outer, such as HU. Apparently Paul Twitchell, the founder of Eckankar in this day and Age, was a fifth Initiate in his past life then when he was re-embodied he became a fourteenth Initiate known to Eckists as the Mahanta, the Living Eck Master. According to the Goddess of Light, in the past people were made to believe they could not receive the Greater Activity of Life, the Power of Life, unless they went through training and Initiation. Never in the history of the earth was such an Initiation going on as among the I AM Students today.
